Though I am sorry things didn't really work out for you guys, but I know the feeling.

Though my family is not really that conservative, but I did get a little of that in the starting.
And we have been in Kolkatta twice and as my college is pretty near to that(IIT-Kharagpur), so that place holds a really sweet place in both of our hearts.
Also Anna finds it really interesting, one of the few places in India she has graced with her readiness to live in. With most other cities, it touch and go.

Well, I hope to post more on this as time passes by us.
I spent a year with someone from Bengal and the cultural differences between us was amazing. His family had huge issues with it. His family were very prominent and they saw his relationship with me as a huge source of shame. But we had an amazing year together, and i ate some of the best food i have ever eaten in my life :) his devils became too much for him on top of me and all my american woman ways drove him mad lol. I really hope that your relationship continues to grow in such a lovely way.

In response to:Another Day and I wake up to see a world going ape !!!

A path travelled is a an experience peppered with both good and bad things ...
